Do Elephants Ever Forget Anything

Love the textured paper this was made with.  I stamped the elephant on silver cardstock, and the tree and elephants straight on the cardstock.  Due to the texture, I had to use a black sharpie to fill in a little on the large solid area of the tree.  The stamp set I used for this card is African Veldt.  LOVE THIS SET

I Hate Rats

This was created with Boo To You stamp set, cut out and pop dotted Frankenstien and the rats are Martha Stewart punches.  My grandkids love this card.  Hope you enjoy as well.

Autumn Days

This was made with two stamp sets, Country Thanksgiving (2011 set) and Thankful for You (2010 set).  I stamped the corner of the girl with the pumpkin and cut them out, popdotted the scarecrow and the ribbon with tag for Autumn Days.  Enjoy this beautiful weather we're all having.

Nancy Ruth

This is Nancy Ruth, she's on the senior design team for Marks Finest Papers.  That was a wonderful day in St. Augustine.

Remembering Claudia

A picture is all I have left of my best friend, well, along with thousands of wonderful memories and her cat which I inherited.  Spike (the cat) is now a huge (22 pound Maine Coon) part of our family and has settled in great, wow is she spoiled, or is it us that's spoiled.  Claudia loved that cat.  She's ours now and you'll be seeing photos of her on this site.  If you knew Claudia, you were blessed, if not, you missed out.  I miss her laugh and her outlook on life, she was a remarkable woman that passed away far before she should have.  Faith lets me share my memories of Claudia, and I'm so blessed to have had a friend like Claudia and blessed to have a friend like Faith.  CJ is missed !

Once in while you have to just say it

Last year when I went to Marks Finest Papers Stamp Camp I learned how to make these small flowers with a circle punch.  Use a large circle punch, start cutting it with a spiral, and then roll it with a skewer.  Its glued together with a small circle punch on the bottom, I have to hold it for a little while till the tight twirling stays in place, but I think its worth it.  You get a great look.  The saying is from the stamp set "Black Eyes Susan for Encouragement, thought the pink was great this month for breast cancer month.  Hope you enjoy.

What a good lookin' man!

This was done with a Sizzix punch, the background is done in versa mark and the saying are both using the  Boo to You halloween set.

Yes, I'm a Witch

Just kidding!  But, I probably can be sometimes.  I love this set, I added a two dimensional moon and I love it.  Just one of many halloween cards I've been working on.  Enjoy the day, its so fun for me because I'm privileged enough to be able to handmake my grandkids costumes.  They choose, I sew, makes us all happy.
Plus, the candy ain't half bad! hahaha, have a witchy day.

Fishermen

I made this for my brother who loves to fish, he has great fish stories.  Its got a leather look background made with masking tape and I crumpled all the papers, trying to make it look old, along with scraping the edges of the papers to roughen it up some more.  The stamp set for the boat is from Sand Surf Relax set and the saying is from Fish you were here set.  Enjoy.

Thanks for the flowers

This is a Tri-fold card, the banner is also on the inside of the card.  I saw these flowers on Speedy TV tutorial and fell in love with them.  You can do all kinds of things, decorate anything, and make pins for ladies to wear with them.  They are great.   They are seven punches and with a stylist you curl them.   I added a brown center because I couldn't curl them as much as they were curled on the tutorial.  If you haven't visitet the tutorial, please do, its got some amazing things on it.  The Thank you was stamped with Natures Postage stamp, and the paper was part of a pack.  Tied with a ribbon to complete the card.  Have a wonderful day.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for icecream

Ice cream has to be my absolute favorite food in the whole world.  Even in the winter, I sit covered with a quilt, dish towel under the dish so I don't have to touch the cold glass, and eat my icecream ..... this was inspired by that love.  I used punches and the Sweet word came from Apples and Camellia stamp set.
I scored the blue card in one inch squares hoping it would look like a table cloth, but didn't work in the picture.  Enjoy your day.

The Heat is On

I was born and bred in Florida which makes me rare ... there are less true Floridians in Florida than people that have visited, fell in love with our beautiful state and stayed.  It doesn't show very well, but there is a versa mark stamp that says "The heat is on" and then stamped with HOT HOT HOT all over the background light orange.  I just love this sun, there is a rubbing of glitter over the card, but doesn't show well in the photo.  But I'm learning.  OH YEAH!  This was made with two stamp sets "Sand Between My Toes Mini" and "Hello Sunshine".  Enjoy!

Save the turtles

The was made with cracked glass impression (looks like coral to me)
and the two stamp sets were Fish you were here and Sea Creatures.
Living in Florida, we appreciate the beauty of the ocean and its creatures.
